What is Source and Channel?

eMagazines provides magazine publishers with detailed delivery and open reports by "Source" and "Channel".

Most publishers issue a partner an LAC (List Agent Code) and a Key which describes the specific program used to sell the magazine subscription.

For the purposes of files and the eMagazines API, you'll put your Key in the SOURCE field and your LAC in the CHANNEL field. It's very important that these values are included (if provided by the publisher) and they are placed in the right position so the reporting received by the publisher on your customers' engagement is formatted properly.
